Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26, 1978. She is a famous actress by her roles in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been a part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since the month of March in 2020. She is currently an analyst in charge of the Assassination Witness project, and is a core member of GI-TOC's multilateral engagement team. In her work with GI TOC, she focuses on the assassination of people - which includes disappearances and other violence of all kinds in the contexts of illicit economies. Research interests focus on the effects of organized crime on human and humanitarian rights, as well as the impact of legislation and policies. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with distinction in International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also holds an LL.M. in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula earned a magnacum honours bachelor's degree Legal and Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The experience she has gained as a lawyer is comprised of four years with a firm that is specialized in public law litigation. The past experience she has had also involved working with roles in non-governmental organizations headquartered at Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
