Anamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress. She made her debut on the huge screen with Sex Traffic by Channel 4 in which she won she was awarded the British Academy Television Award was given for the Best Actress. The actress fluently speaks French, German and English. Her father is a theater professor for one of Romania's top acting schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 in the Mangalia Young Actor Gala. In 2008, the European Film Promotion Board recognized her as a European Shooting Star.
