Andrea Joy Cook better known as A.J. Cook is a well-known Canadian actress. Most famous for her role as Jennifer Jareau as a supervisory agent on the CBS crime show Criminal Minds. The thirteenth season of the show is in progress. The show began its run in 2005. Cook was born in Oshawa (Canada), was attracted to acting at an early age. Cook began her career acting as an actress, with the role of a guest actress in Goosebumps. Her debut film role was in the drama The Virgin Suicides, released in 1999. However, the film was unsuccessful. The actress began to appear as the lead character in the Canadian-American drama Higher Ground the following year. A few years later she was spotted on the police crime drama Criminal Minds which earned her lots of attention and fame. The show is believed as the most memorable of her career.
