It was her first Latina ever to develop, produce and write her own show on a network. Her family was raised in Texas and later moved into Los Angeles to pursue her profession. She's been on television shows like Sons of Anarchy' and General Hospital. She was the writer of the TV show Mind of Mencia. She has been hosting and appearing in the TV series 'The View as well.
